ABOUT LISA
An experienced marketing professional and events planner with a background in hospitality, Lisa Byrne has built an outstanding reputation for her community involvement and leadership in Washington DC, both online and off. Lisa works with Pappas Group, an award-winning integrated branding and advertising agency, as Social Strategist. Founder of DCeventjunkie and Co-Founder of DC Wine Week, Lisa is a web and events entrepreneur with the goal of bringing people together.
A fitness enthusiast, Lisa regularly trains with Grant Hill of MyBootcamp and recently completed her first Tough Mudder. She writes on her journey to health and fitness at Lisa In Motion and was recently featured by Washingtonian Well+Being as a “Health Hero”.
In August, 2011 Lisa was named one of DC’s nineteen women to meet in Capitol File Magazine’s Black Book noting “To prove just how attractive DC is to the movers and shakers of the world, we corralled 36 of the city’s most-eligible men and women who are making a mark —and a difference— in this town. From the artistic and the athletic to the entrepreneurial, this group of high achievers is worth getting to know.”
