HealthyShare GE Olympic Games App Arrives on Facebook

GE has partnered with Facebook to launch their new Olympic Games app, HealthyShare, a place for Facebook users to share their healthy activities and encourage their friends to share theirs. You choose from six Olympic Challenges, each represented by an Olympic athlete. For example, Michael Johnson’s Olympic Games routine includes skipping, jumping, leg lifts, and running. If you’re a basketball player you might prefer Kevin Durant’s challenge, or there’s Summer Sander’s challenge for the swimmers, etc. General challenges include Eat Healthier and Get Moving.

“Olympians inspire us. And we inspire each other. Whether it’s doing push-ups like Kevin Durant or going for a swim like Summer Sanders, join a GE Olympic Games challenge below and let’s get healthier together.”

There are no suggested goals or achievements, you log in your own activity each day. Some challenges would be a good addition. I like how you get prompted to remind your friends who are using to app to log theirs. A leader board ranks you among your friends where points are earned for logging activity (+5), for liking a friend’s activity (+1), and for receiving a like from a friend (+1).

I Like It! Come play with me!
